María Marcos Ramos has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of the Basque Country and a PhD doctorate in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Salamanca (Extraordinary Award). She is a Professor of Communication and Audiovisual Creation at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Salamanca. Her lines of research deal with representation of minorities in audiovisual fiction, cinematographic representation of society in cinema and analysis of audiovisual fiction, etc. her topics on which she has published articles in scientific magazines and monographs. She is the author of a book “ETA catódica. Terrorism in television fiction” (Laertes, 2021) and editor of several books.
